Mural Work
I have been painting murals for the past seven years. The project below are examples of my work. They are usually completed with a loose theme, sometimes under precise directions, and always in my voice. I am always happy to create a mural and bring your idea to life!

Native Birds, Rotorua
This was the project which started my personal mural work in my home town. It was commissioned to cover tagging on the main highway out to the airport.
I love painting wildlife and have a passion for working to look after our native bird species so this was a wonderful project.
Mermaid saves the trout, Rotorua
My second mural in the same area of Rotorua city. I was given complete freedom to paint from the heart with this project. I love the ocean and attuned what I painted to Rotorua, and the lakes in this region. This was my rainbow trout debut, and the mermaid is the protector of the wildlife.

Mural Festivals
These murals were painted in the finals of two different murals fests.
A Land of Promise, Rochester 2024
This painting was my interpretation of Pania of the Reef, a Māori legend, who came to the land from the ocean where she had grown up.
In the Footsteps of Giants, Sheffield 2024
This was my take on life amongst mural artists of many years' experience, who I have been lucky to paint amongst in competition.
The giant footstep with a blob of paint, presumably from a mural giant's paintbrush, has me in it, painting a wildlife study, whilst a giant natural world surrounds me.
Wild Life in Sheffield, Tasmania
This project was completed on an interior wall in the Blacksmith Cafe. It shows the wildlife around Tasmania, including the infamous Tasmanian tiger, which some locals believe to still be resident in the Mount Roland Regional Reserve (the outline of which runs along the painting).

Paw Parade, Rotorua
This 2025 mural was a real throwback to the watercolour portrait commissions which I did of people's dogs in 2020. These lovely pups represent the beautiful creatures who attend the Little Angels Doggy Daycare in Rotorua, and the mural is on the back wall of the area where dogs get free time and where puppy training classes are held.
